Will graduating from the best schools ensure business success?
Ateneo and De La Salle university are some of the exclusive universities found in the Philippines. Its exclusive because not only must you be smart, you must also have the financial capability to study there because its tuition fee is somewhat expensive. Graduating from these universities with top honors guarantees that you will be able to land a high paying job, and most companies will actually come and offer work to you. But what about in business? Will it guarantee that their graduates will be successful entrepreneurs?
Upon observation, most business tycoons in the Philippines have not even completed their studies. Most have to work and help out their parents when they were still young. Being a genius is not one of the characteristics commonly found in successful entrepreneurs nor the school where they graduate from. Street wise is much more valuable in business than academic success. Since the world is mostly run by dropouts.
