FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Where are franchises available?
A: Franchises are available initially only in Cebu and the Visayas.

Q: How much does the MANILA FOODSHOPPE Franchise Fee cost?
A: Only the first three Franchises are offered at Pesos 200,000 each, the regular franchise fee afterwards is Pesos 300,000.

Q: Do you limit MANILA FOODSHOPPE Franchises to one unit per Franchisee?
A: For each location a separate Franchise Agreement has to be executed.

Q: What are the advertisement fees?
A: 1% of gross sales for Local Store Marketing to be spent by you to promote MANILA FOODSHOPPE within your territory. Pesos 20,000 for the Grand opening of the outlet

Q: Will MANILA FOODSHOPPE provide the site and construction of the building or restaurant?
A: Each Franchisee is responsible for securing his own location. All potential sites must be submitted to MANILA FOODSHOPPE for approval. Construction of the Restaurant is entirely at the expense of the Franchisee.

Q: Can I remodel an existing structure?
A: Yes. The only requirement is that MANILA FOODSHOPPE must approve all remodeling to the specifications of MANILA FOODSHOPPE to insure that our requirements and high standards are met.

Q: Is the Franchisee required to purchase all his equipment and supply needs from MANILA FOODSHOPPE?
A: As a MANILA FOODSHOPPE Franchisee, you are required to purchase the marinated, pre-cooked or prepared food supplies from Franchisor. All other items are to be purchased by approved suppliers of MANILA FOODSHOPPE.

Q: If I lease a space, will you design the store layout?
A: We will furnish you with a floor plan, sketch and basic specification for a MANILA FOODSHOPPE. Each Franchisee is responsible for customizing the basic plan to the dimension of the proposed location.

Q: What pre-opening services do you offer?
A: Prior to and upon opening, a MANILA FOODSHOPPE representative will assist you with training personnel, ordering inventory, establishing relationships with suppliers and arranging a Grand Opening.

Q: What about Training of Franchisee, Supervisor and cooks?
A: Absolutely. MANILA FOODSHOPPE has spent a great deal of time and effort developing its product and system and accepts no compromise in quality or control. For this reason, we require Franchisee and their cooks to complete our 3 weeks training program and demonstrate mastery of certain basic skills. The cost of training is included in the Franchise Fee.

Q: Do you have a comprehensive manual for the operation?
A: Our confidential Operations Manual details the MANILA FOODSHOPPE system on every aspect of daily operation in your store.
