The 18th Philippine International Franchise Conference and Expo 2010

There will be an upcoming franchise conference and expo that will be held on July 14 - 18, 2010 which will be held in the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City near the Mall of Asia. Franchise Road show 2009

Great news for those of us who are seriously looking to start their own franchise business. The Franchise Institute of the Philippines will be touring key cities in the country which kicks off this month at Antonio’s Bar and Grill in Davao City on Nov. 26, 2009 and at Tita Fannie’s Liempo and Chicken Haus in Cagayan de Oro on Nov. 28, 2009. This road show aims to further educate the public on responsible franchising and the ins and outs of the franchising business.

In starting your franchise business, it is important that you are armed with knowledge on these topics particularly in identifying who is the responsible franchisor and who is not. This is due to a fact that there are a growing number of individuals who have been scammed into buying in to a franchise business that offers little support, planning and preparation which these unscrupulous companies are just interested in getting their franchise fee.
