Promoting Products Abroad
Having an international client base is the dream of most local manufacturers in the Philippines. Most find success in international business by marketing niche native furniture made from bamboo or rattan. But there are also vast opportunities yet untapped by our local entrepreneurs. China is the destination most local businessmen are trying to break into due to the huge Chinese market. Most Tsinoys have found success there like Oishi, plus Henry Sy and Lucio Tan already has business invested over there.
You can promote you business abroad by participating in one of the international missions or trade fairs mounted by either the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM) or the Bureau of Export Trade Promotion (BETP).
