Franchising Bonsai culture

Growing ornamental plants used to be a mere hobby of plant lovers - not any more . It has become a profitable enterprise and a fast growing industry.

Commercial horticulture has long been an established industry in most part of the country but its is only recently that hobbyist have taken keen interest in growing ornamental plants for profit. While there were garden clubs and horticulture societies which would from time to time hold garden shows, most of the members were only the elite who have the money to buy expensive and rare plants and have spacious grounds for their plants.

But today, even ordinary folk are into plant growing and selling business. Plant shops, garden or nurseries are sprouting everywhere. This is partly because there is a heightened appreciation for landscaped gardens, outdoor and indoor ornamental plants to enhance the beauty, economic value and utility of homes, public buildings, parks, commercial and religious establishments. Ornamental plants make the environment refreshing, pleasant and reduces the harmful effects of toxic gases in the air.
