The Animal House Pet Clinic & Grooming Center is one of the country’s leading and most dynamic chain of veterinary clinics equipped to provide quality pet care to dogs and cats. (If a pet lover’s animal friend happens to be a reptile, bird, rabbit or guinea pig, it is more than welcome at the Animal House in Makati.) Its clinics are equipped with laboratory and diagnostic facilities such as X-rays, Ultrasound, ECG’s, and dental scalers. Aside from providing medical, dental, laboratory, and surgical services.

Animal House also provides boarding and grooming services; and makes available to its numerous clients a wide choice of nutritional and dietary products. Animal House also carries clothes and accessories for dogs and cats alike. Recently, Animal House has offered dog training and obedience services.

Drs. Michael Kaw and Edgar Unson founded Animal House in 1986, when they started Kaw and Unson Veterinarian Company. Aside from the Animal House Clinics in Makati and New Manila, there are Animal House establishments in Greenhills, Ortigas Center, Alabang, Sta. Mesa Heights, Manila, SM Megamall, SM Bicutan and Market Market.

The Animal House is currently staffed with 28 full time, well trained, caring veterinarians and a support staff of 36 to handle emergency and routine cases of the clinic. Most clinics are open from 9am to 10pm from Monday to Saturday and till 4pm on Sundays.

NON-SURGICAL franchise facilities, located in Shopping Malls, which specialize more on grooming, retail and outpatient care.

SURGICAL franchise facilities, which are located outside Malls in Commercial buildings along busy main roads and near sub-divisions.

Franchise Fee: Pesos 500,000
Inclusive of:

- Trade Name and Proprietary Marks
- Site selection approval
- Construction Supervision
- Training for Franchisee,
- Veterinary
- Groomer
- Assistant
- Secretary
- Procurement program
- Marketing assistance
- Pre-opening assistance
- Grand opening assistance
- Post opening assistance
- Research and Development

Initial Term: 5 years
Renewal Term: 5 years
Renewal Fee: 50% of initial franchise fee then charged
Total Initial Investment:

- Pesos 1.6 M – non surgical facility in Shopping Mall
- Pesos 3.0 M – surgical facility in commercial building

Royalty: Pesos 20,000 per month, grace period for first 6 months
Required space:

- 30-40 square meters for non surgical facility in Shopping Mall
- 150 square meter – for surgical facilities in commercial buildings
- Location must be available upon signing of Franchise agreement

Franchise Ownership: Pet lovers, Pet owner preferred
Franchise Management: Hands-on 4 hours / day
If Franchisee is not a Doctor of Veterinary, such has to be hired and trained by Franchisor
